Get To Know MIKE POSNER - Rules And Regulations

1. Ways to Enter the Contest.
No purchase is necessary to enter. To enter the Get To Know Mike Posner Contest (the “Contest”), fully complete and submit a Contest entry form online to any of the five (5) following radio stations: 94.5 The Beat FM, 91.7 The Bounce Edmonton, 101.3 The Bounce Halifax, Hot 89.9 Ottawa, and Hot 107 FM Edmonton (each a “Radio Station”). An entry can be submitted on August 9, 2010 but no later than August 20, 2010 (the “Contest Closing Date”). Limit of one entry per person. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of these Contest rules and regulations may be disqualified.

2. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada (except residents of Québec). Entrants must be thirteen years of age or over. Entrants under the age of majority are eligible to win provided that the entrant’s parent or legal guardian accepts the prize on his or her behalf. Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members and members of the same household) of Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc. (“Sony Music”), CHUM Radio, a division of CTV Radio as represented by its 94.5 The Beat FM station, 91.7 The Bounce Edmonton station and 101.3 The Bounce Halifax station, Newfoundland Capital Corporation Limited as represented by its Hot 89.9 Ottawa station and 1475435 Alberta Ltd. as represented by its Hot 107 FM Edmonton station (collectively the “Sponsors”), and their respective distributors, dealers, marketing representatives, printers, advertising or promotional agencies, or any other organization associated with the Contest are not eligible to participate.

3. Prize
Five (5) grand prizes are to be awarded consisting of one (1) pair of Puma shoes and one (1) Puma bag and one (1) pair of Oakley sunglasses and one (1)bag (Approx. retail value of each prize is CDN$500) (each a “Prize”). Each winner will be given the opportunity to choose the particular style of Puma shoes and Oakley sunglasses subject to availability and the Sponsors’ final and sole discretion. Each of the five (5) Radio Stations will award one (1) Prize. The Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a Prize in whole or in part for a prize of equal or greater value in the event that any component of a Prize is unavailable for any reason. The Prizes must be accepted as awarded and no substitutions, except as identified above, will be made. The Prizes may not be sold, transferred or assigned and are not convertible to cash.

4. The Draw
The winners of the Contest will be selected in five (5) random drawings conducted by each of the five (5) Radio Stations of all eligible entries received by each Radio Station by the Contest Closing Date. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received by each Radio Station. The random drawings will take place on or about August 21, 2010. The Sponsors will attempt to notify the selected entrant by telephone within two (2) business days of the draw. In order to be declared a winner, the selected entrant must unaided correctly answer a time-limited skill-testing question and liability/publicity release confirming compliance with these rules and regulations, releasing the Sponsors and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from all liability and, except where prohibited by law, permitting the Sponsors to use the selected entrant’s name, address (city and province), likeness, voice, written statements and image, without compensation, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media now known or hereafter devised, including the Internet, in any publicity carried out by the Sponsors. If the selected entrant is under the age of majority, the contest eligibility and liability/publicity release must be submitted by the selected entrant’s parent or legal guardian. Selected entrants must also provide proof of identity (photocopy of Driver’s License, Passport or any other government-issued photo identification). In the event that a selected entrant is not eligible for any reason, has not correctly answered the skill-testing question or cannot be contacted after two (2) business days of the first attempt to contact the selected entrant, such entrant shall be disqualified and the Sponsors shall have the right to select another entrant and the Sponsors shall be released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard. No correspondence will be made except with the selected entrant(s). All entry forms submitted become the property of the Sponsors and will not be returned.

5. General
By entering the Contest, entrants agree to abide by these rules and regulations, and further agree that the decisions of the Sponsors are final. The Sponsors reserve the right at any time without prior notice to withdraw, cancel, terminate, amend, modify or suspend the Contest if for any reason in the opinion of the Sponsors, in their sole discretion, the Contest is not capable of operating as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond their control. The Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the online entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these rules or otherwise in disruptive manner with respect to the Contest. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. The Sponsors also reserve the right to cancel this Contest at any time because of any printing or other error. The Sponsors do not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, seeding or printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, software (including on account of traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site) or any combination thereof. The Sponsors shall not be liable for any errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest, including any injury or damage to the entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading of any materials relating to the Contest or any theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries submitted online.

6. Privacy and Personal Information
The Sponsors will be collecting data about entrants through the Contest entry forms. Any personal information will be handled in accordance with the privacy policy of Sony Music located at http://www.sonymusic.ca/privacy/en/. By entering the Contest each entrant consents to the collection, use and distribution of his/her personal information (information that identifies an entrant as an individual, such as home telephone number, age and home address) by the Sponsors for the purposes of implementing, administering and fulfilling the Contest. The Sponsors will not sell or transmit this information to third parties unless the entrant has specifically consented to same, the Sponsors believe in good faith that it is required by law, to their affiliates (provided that such affiliates and their agents and advisors and their respective employees are restricted from using the information for any other purpose other than as described in these rules and regulations), or to their respective agents for data processing purposes, their respective professional advisors and promotional and marketing agencies (provided that such agents, professional advisors and promotional and marketing agencies are restricted from using the information for any purpose other than as described in these rules and regulations). Any inquiry concerning the personal information held by the Sponsors should be addressed to Sony Music.

7. Subject to Applicable Laws
This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
