(NEW YORK – NY) Mike Posner, singer, songwriter, producer, and recent Duke University graduate has announced his first headlining club tour, The Up In The Air Tour, produced by Live Nation and sponsored by Karmaloop.com. Tickets go on sale to the public on July 23rd at LiveNation.com. Fans can receive exclusive access to pre-sale tickets for The Up In The Air Tour when they pre-order 31 Minutes To Takeoff at Mike's Official Store.

The Up In The Air Tour will make 22 stops at premier clubs throughout the country, with shows confirmed through October 15th in Toronto, Canada at the Mod Club. Posner will be joined by five supporting acts throughout the tour; Far East Movement, Stephen Jerzak, 2AM Club, Bad Rabbits and XV. Additional dates to be announced soon.

Posner’s highly anticipated debut album 31 Minutes to Takeoff (J Records) will be released on August 10th. His explosive first single “Cooler Than Me” is conquering nearly every chart available…currently sitting at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts, #7 on the Digital Songs Chart, and soaring in the Top 5 at Top 40, Top 10 at Rhythm formats and has sold over 1 million downloads.

In mid-May the Los Angeles Times declared "Mike Posner is on a quest to be pop’s next best thing." This was about a week after Posner opened for Drake at his sold out Nokia Theater show and a mere four days after he walked across the stage in Durham, North Carolina to receive his bachelor’s degree from the prestigious Duke University.

In March of 2009, Posner’s first mixtape A Matter of Time (recorded in his dorm room) rose to the #1 position on iTunesU, promptly garnering him the attention of major labels. After signing a deal with J Records that summer, Posner returned to Duke to finish up his course load, all the while beginning work on his debut album, self-releasing his second free mixtape One Foot Out The Door (featuring collaborations with 3Oh!3, Bun B, Kid Cudi, Wale) through iTunesU and rocking shows every weekend at colleges and festivals across the country.

Posner performed on Last Call With Carson Daly in October 2009 and Lopez Tonight in May 2010. He will be performing on Live! With Regis & Kelly, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Wendy Williams Show in early August.
